  • EarthScope USArray Array Network Facility (ANF)
The USArray component of the EarthScope experiment is a continental-scale seismic observatory designed to provide a foundation for integrated studies of continental lithosphere and deep Earth structure over a wide range of scales. The Array Network Facility component of the Earthscope USArray project ensures all real time data collected from the various arrays are transmitted, checked for quality, archived, and accessible online for researchers and the general public. The group also provides real time analysis of array network health to field engineers to ensure data continuously flows from the instruments. The ANF are also developing new state-of-the-art web-based tools to access and query real time data, including XML data products, interactive instrument analysis, and GIS toolsets.

  • Experimental Climate Prediction Center (ECPC)
The Scripps ECPC is developing an integrated regional climate prediction capability by undertaking basic research to identify coupled land-atmosphere-ocean linkages on seasonal to interannual time scales and then developing appropriate climate prediction methodologies focused on coupled numerical global and regional atmospheric models, single column models, ocean models, hydrologic, water-resource models, and fire danger models.
